Tom Singer, You're My Hero!

As pointed out by Matt over at MetsBlog, Tom Singer (from MLB.com) had a great line in his article promoting Mr. Met's tour of Manhattan via parade later today...

This is not the only parade the Mets plan to hold in 2005. But six months' work remains before they can retrace Mr. Met's route under a blizzard of confetti.
Like I said... he's my hero. Let's see it happen, team!

More links to come in a few...

Why don't they post a more exact schedule of where he will be and when? I'm at work and would lov to get out there but I don't know if and when he'll stop near my office.

Dave, your guess is as good as mine. Possibly try calling the Mets? Maybe they'll give you a better schedule.

This was posted on a message board a few minutes ago... although it gives no hint as to what their scheduled course is, it tell us where they have been at one time.

The bus is right outside Washington Square Park right now. I didn't see Mr. Met himself, but I got a free schedule and t-shirt. The shirt on the front says "NEXT YEAR IS NOW." and the back says "THE NEW METS"
